The purpose of an eclipse is to shake you out of your rut, illuminate certain circumstances that were hidden from view, or bring sudden opportunity that you have to seize to take full advantage.

The total eclipse of the Sun - a solar eclipse - will come up first, January 26. Sudden opportunities are sure to arise, some quite creative and exciting, that you will want to investigate. Don’t worry too much about whether or not others will go along with your plans or ideas. You need to present a vision, and it appears you will, in a vivid, passionate way.

Another lunar eclipse is happening on July 7 in your twelfth house. If you have a medical concern, this would be a good time to visit medical specialists to get advice or run tests. You will get a great deal done while working alone near this date, especially if the project is artistic or visual or involves writing. Work and health – Initiation point – July 22 +/- one month

Another solar eclipse is happening in your work and health house on July 22. If you were born near end of Aquarius, this is great opportunity to initiate a new job.

Your work routine may change in some way, for this new moon happens to be a total eclipse of the Sun. An eclipse will always shake things up, for eclipses are the most powerful and dramatic way the universe uses to create dramatically new conditions so that we all can continue to grow. An eclipse may “eclipse out” a regular client, so that you can be inspired by something new.

Another way this eclipse may work out is that you may discover that a trusted subordinate is leaving the firm. When that happens, you will have to scramble to find someone else or do the job yourself for a while. You might want to keep your list of contingency names handy until permanent replacements can be recruited.

Suddenly near August 6, you may find focus back on relationship issues. Things you have started in January will be showing their results near this time. In this highly emotional time on the lunar eclipse August 6, you will see dramatic changes happening there.

This would be time of culmination for something close to your heart. Eclipses bring events that you can’t quite sweep under the rug - if you don’t take care of all that comes up, no matter what it happens to be, it will be taken out of your hands and taken care of for you by the universe.

You may get engaged, or you may break up - those are extremes, but soon you will know where you stand. Not all eclipses deliver their news directly ON or within five days of the date the eclipse appears.
